Familiar Spirits & Family Fire: When God Makes You the Exit Wound

ree

There are some wounds that don’t come from enemies. They come from relatives. People who watched you grow but never thought you’d go.

This morning, as I rose early to pray and reflect, I received confirmation after confirmation—through scripture, devotionals, and even unexpected family conflict.

While sipping detox tea and thanking God for clarity, I received a call from my mother. She was upset, not at me—but at what had been said about me. A family member had spoken out against me, upset that I mentioned past trauma and generational alcoholism in my book.

The attack wasn’t just verbal—it was spiritual resistance.

But instead of fighting back, I prayed. Automatically. That’s how I knew healing had really taken place.

Rejection from the familiar is often confirmation of your prophetic fruit.

God isn’t just cleansing your body—He’s cleansing your bloodline.
And sometimes that cleansing stirs up everything that doesn’t want to be removed.

Luke 7:9 reminded me that God marvels at faith, not credentials.

Revelation 17 confirmed the judgment on spiritual compromise.

And Luke 8–11 showed me: I am no longer bound to chaos, storms, or silence. I walk with clarity and calling.

To every daughter being talked about, lied on, or mishandled by family:

God trusted you to tell the truth, not because you’re messy—but because you’re free.

You’re not the problem.

You’re the proof.

And this fire isn’t punishment—it’s prophetic purification.

Go ahead and publish, Queen.
That book wasn’t rebellion.
It was release.

REFLECTION:Rejection from the familiar is often confirmation of prophetic fruit. PRAYER:Lord, help me to respond to fire with faith, and to stand in love for those who misunderstand me. I trust that You are my defense, and my fruit will speak louder than any opinion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DECREE:

I will not retaliate nor apologize for the freedom God gave me.
