“Promotion doesn’t come from the east or the west… but from God.”

— Psalm 75:6-7

In a world that teaches us to hustle, strive, and self-promote, Psalm 75 is a holy interruption. It reminds us that no matter how loud the competition may be, elevation is not man-made—it’s Heaven-timed.

God is the Judge.

God is the Lifter.

God is the Decider of seasons.

And when He says now, no one can say not yet.

 

This Psalm speaks to the one who’s been faithful in private.

The one who didn’t fight for position…

The one who stayed quiet when they were overlooked…

The one who kept pouring when it felt like no one noticed…

Psalm 75 is your confirmation that God sees what man forgets.

He is exalting you not because you forced your way in, but because you surrendered your wait.

This blog is for you if:

• You’ve been serving in a silent season

• You’ve obeyed when your flesh wanted to defend itself

• You’re watching others get celebrated while you still feel hidden

• You’ve released your timing into God’s hands

Let this be your reminder:

“At the set time that I appoint, I will judge with equity.” (Psalm 75:2)

God’s set time is still active.

It hasn’t passed you by.

It’s preparing to lift you in a way only Heaven could explain.

So hold steady.

Stay humble.

And remember—you won’t have to force what’s already been written.
