The Courage to Start Again

The Courage to Start Again

ree

Some seasons require endurance. Others require stillness. And then there are those moments when God whispers—not to keep walking the same road—but to turn, to pivot, and to start again.

Starting again doesn’t always mean starting over. It means picking up the pieces of what you’ve learned, the strength you’ve gained, and the faith you’ve fought for—and carrying them into a new door God is opening.

This morning in prayer, I was reminded: faith is not just believing God can move. It’s being willing to move when He says it’s time. For me, that meant confronting fears, acknowledging past mistakes, and saying “yes” to the next step—no matter how small.

Isaiah 43:19 says:

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Sometimes the “way” is already prepared, but we miss it because we’re still staring at the closed door behind us. God’s promise is that He will make a way—not that the way will always be familiar, easy, or without risk.

So here’s my reminder to you today: trust the nudge. If He’s stirring your spirit to step out, it’s not to lead you into shame or failure—it’s to lead you into provision, clarity, and destiny.

Declaration: Lord, I trust the new path You are opening before me. I release fear, I release regret, and I step into the courage to begin again.
